Director of Sales and Marketing

Larry Martin

Larry Martin is Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. In this role, Larry is responsible for managing the Hyatt’s customer facing organization with the mandate of driving customer contact and maximizing customer experience. He was appointed to this position in November of 2011.

Larry was previously a regional director of sales for Aimbridge Hospitality with responsibility for over 20 hotels nationally. Prior to that he has held several regional and hotel level sales and marketing positions.  

Larry enjoys time with his family and his two yorkies. He also loves cooking, playing piano and dabbling in painting and ceramics.

Andrew Hargis

General Manager

Andrew Hargis started his hospitality career at the age of 16 washing dishes at a restaurant in Los Angeles leading to his 20-year tenue in hospitality. After cutting his teeth in the food and beverage industry in a variety of roles, Andrew leaped into hotels as the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the DoubleTree San Pedro Port of Los Angeles and never turned back.

Andrew has lead hotel teams all over the United States including Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Cincinnati, St. Louis, and San Antonio and has worked in full service major brands including Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton throughout his career.  Most recently, Andrew was the General Manager of the Le Meridien St. Louis Clayton. From 2014-2018, Andrew was the Assistant General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa which is why this new appointment is so special. June 5, Andrew is returning to lead the charge at this very hotel in the role of General Manager.

Outside of his passion for the hospitality industry, Andrew is an avid marathon runner and recently finished his 18th marathon which was the Boston Marathon in April. Andrew is also a musician and has played the guitar for 25 years. He and his wife, Sophia, enjoy traveling, exploring new places, discovering local food, and just hanging out with their dog, Ray.

Andrew recently completed his MBA at St. Louis University and is looking forward to rediscovering Tulsa.

Tyfani Graves

Executive Assistant

Tyfani Graves is the Executive Assistant for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. In this role, Tyfani is responsible for assisting the Sales and Catering Managers with events as well as assisting other Hyatt Regency Tulsa departments. Tyfani joined the Hyatt Team in 2004.

Tyfani loves to spend time with family and friends when she is not at work with her work family.

Caroline Jones

Event Service Manager

Caroline Jones is the Event Service Manager for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa. In this Role, Caroline is responsible for planning and executing meetings that Lori contracts. Caroline joined the Sales team in September 2021 and spent time working at the Front Desk starting in 2017.

Caroline is a graduate of Oklahoma State University - Hotel and Restaurant Administration program in 2019 and enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and photography.

Lori Long

Group Sales Manager

Lori Long is the Group Sales Manager for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. In this role, Lori is responsible for managing the Large Market groups of 61 or more rooms on peak or more than 201 room nights. Identifying and establishing prospective group accounts and maintain established ones, negotiate all contracts and proposals. Lori joined the Hyatt Team in 2019.

Lori also serves on the 2023 Oklahoma Association of Executives (OSAE) Board of Director’s as Strategic Partner Liaison. Lori has been in the lodging industry for over 20 years in the Tulsa Market, and as a member of the board now advises OSAE on partner relations and strategies to help make OSAE a great organization.   

Lori enjoys her time with family and friends, and her Shih Tzu-Coco.

Kiel Miller

Business Travel Manager

Kiel started at Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown in March 2022 after working at the hotel previously between 2014 & 2016. Kiel’s role as Executive Meeting Manager requires guiding the client through the booking process from inquiry to contract to final planning and billing. Kiel also manages corporate negotiated rates for the hotel.

Kiel started his hospitality career in valet parking before moving to the Front Desk to eventually become Assistant Front Office Manager & Front Office Manager. Kiel transitioned to Sales while at Holiday Inn. After 5 years at Holiday Inn even during the pandemic, Kiel also spent a year in Sales at Stoney Creek Hotel.

Kiel enjoys spending time with his family, 2 cats, and a dog. Kiel also enjoys Nintendo Switch and fishing trips.

Amanda Potter

Express Meeting Manager

Amanda Potter is the Express Meeting Manager for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. In this role, Amanda is responsible for direct event management projects from conception to completion – lead client negotiations, event planning, vendor and cross-departmental team coordination, budgeting, and event setup and execution. Amanda joined the Hyatt team in August of 2022.

Amanda was previously a Catering Sales Manager at a full-service Marriott property in Tulsa for 6 years.

Amanda enjoys time with her 2 young children & family. She also loves being active and being outside when the weather is nice.

Haley Smalley

Catering Sales Manager

Haley Smalley is the Catering Sales Manager for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. In this role, Haley is responsible for all social events from start to completion. All weddings, family reunions, birthday parties, Christmas parties, etc., Haley handles the contracts, details, budgets, and floorplans. Haley joined the Hyatt team in May of 2024.

Haley has spent her entire career working in events from the management side, to the hustle and bustle of set up and tear down.

Haley enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her cat. She also loves exploring new places and traveling.

Jason Crawford

Executive Chef

Chef Jason, born in Johannesburg South Africa, came to the United States in 1997, at a young age began his culinary journey. Working up the ranks of kitchens in Colorado and surrounding areas, spending most of his years in the Denver area honing his craft with restaurant groups such as Cameron Mitchell Restaurants and White lodging properties before moving to Tulsa, and holding a position at the Hardrock Casino and Resort Tulsa, helping their team accumulate 11 awards for the Tulsa worlds best. Chef Jason’s culinary background allows for many different styles and pallets, Chef Jason is a firm believer in , “Yes is the answer what’s the question” .

Jesse Hill

Banquet Manager

Jesse is a Tulsa born native and has worked in various roles within the event industry over the last 15 years. With tenure spent at the Hard Rock Hotel Tulsa and the Renaissance Convention Center, Jesse is experienced in event operations ranging from small personal meetings to large scale formal galas and everything in between.

 

Jesse, along with his exceptional team, will be your day of contact during your events. Their goal is to ensure that your vision is carefully executed.

Karina Breecher

Assistant Banquet Manager

Karina Breecher is the Assistant Banquet Manager for the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown. In this role, Karina is responsible for setting up the meeting space and ensuring clients have everything they need during their events. Karina join the Hyatt Team in 2006.

When Karina is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
